OPEN TO FULL-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REP OF CHARLTON COUNTY HD ONLY
Position Title: System Administrator-Additional Duties
Paygrade: Employee selected will remain in their current job title but will receive a salary supplement.
Location: Charlton County Health Department, Folkston, GA
Description of Duties:
Under general supervision, assists front end users with data entry issues as well as new staff with initial login procedures for Novell, GroupWise, Mitchell & McCormick and SEHD Intranet. Adds all staff as users to websites: GRITS; assists staff in gaining access to GHP Web Portal, GWIS, Amerigroup, Peach State Health Plan and Caresource websites. Provides Level 1 support for all clinic hardware and software. Communicates with District IT Department regarding hardware or software problems. Utilizes Sys Aid for non-emergent in-house work orders. Utilizes system reports and SQLs to ensure data quality and integrity. Distributes information and educates co-workers on system utilization and system updates. Reviews Encounter Edit Report to evaluate completion of encounters and avoid missed billing errors. Works with Nurse Manager to ensure Write-Offs are current, Aged Receivable Report is worked monthly, and statements are generated and mailed. Adheres to all Policies and Procedures regarding data security and proper equipment use.
High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer’s questions, complaints and/or providing information. Current Customer Service Rep of Charlton County HD.
Completion of post-secondary vocational/technical school training program in computer information systems. One year of SEHD experience performing clerical tasks, six months of which involved setting up and/or operating microcomputers using multiple applications.
