Southeast Health District and Walgreens Partner for National HIV Testing Day

In recognition of National HIV Testing Day, the Southeast Health District is partnering with Walgreens host a free HIV testing events across the district. National HIV Testing Day is observed each year on June 27 to encourage individuals to get tested, learn their HIV status, and connect with prevention and treatment services.In recognition of National HIV Testing Day, the Southeast Health District is partnering with Walgreens host a free HIV testing events across the district. National HIV Testing Day is observed each year on June 27 to encourage individuals to get tested, learn their HIV status, and connect with prevention and treatment services.

This year’s events will be held on:

  • Thursday, June 25, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Walgreens in Douglas (602 Peterson Ave. S., Douglas, GA 31533)
  • Tuesday, June 30, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Walgreens in Statesboro (613 Northside Dr. E., Statesboro, GA 30458)

Knowing your status is an important step in protecting your health and helping to reduce the spread of HIV. Community members are invited to stop by during the event for free, confidential HIV testing and to learn more about available HIV prevention and care resources.
