The Georgia Department of Public Health is now partnering with Mako Medical to offer COVID-19 testing to those in various counties in the state of Georgia. There are no eligibility requirements other than having a Georgia address.

For the Southeast Health District, beginning January 20, COVID-19 testing sites operated by Mako Medical will be activated in Bulloch and Coffee counties to provide testing options for the area. As of Monday, May 3, the Mako Medical COVID-19 testing site located in Bulloch County will begin new hours of operation. This new schedule is as follows:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Last Saturday of the month from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

If you would like to register for COVID-19 TESTING at a Mako Medical site, please visit https://mako.exchange/splash/GAmakotesting/.

If you have medical insurance, your insurance card will be requested at the testing site upon your arrival. If for any reason your insurance will not pay, you will have no out-of-pocket costs.

Registering for your COVID-19 test before arrival to the testing site will greatly expedite your experience. Walk-ups are allowed, but pre-registering is preferred, as it will greatly reduce your wait time.

Once you have been tested, your results should be available within your patient portal in 2-3 days. You can also sign up to receive your results via text when you register for your test.

Alternate mass COVID-19 testing sites operated by the Southeast Health District (SEHD) have been implemented in additional counties in our district. Our SEHD sites will continue to offer FREE COVID-19 testing. To schedule an appointment at one of these COVID-19 testing sites, you may call 1-855-473-4374, and one of our agents will assist you.
