Position Title: Access Coordinator

Paygrade: I, J, K

Location: Bulloch County Health Department

Description of Duties: Coordinate all community outreach events which may consist of providing community education or health department services. Serve as the community outreach point person for the Bulloch County Health Department. Assist the Nurse Manager or designee with planning and implementing special events being held at the health department or in the community. For example, mass drive through events, HIV testing days, etc.  Seeks and facilitates grant applications on the behalf of the Bulloch County Board of Health. Will also assist in coordinating with the community during times of an emergency event or declared disaster, these duties will include but not limited to maintaining the emergency preparedness plans, call downs for staff and community partners in addition to assisting with memorandums of understanding.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment OR Six years of experience performing work related to area of assignment. Note: Some positions may require licensure.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Health or related field with two years of experience in leadership and community outreach; Experience in public speaking, Public Health, and supervision.
