Change made to determining
employee's eligibility for FMLA
1, 2009, the Southeast Health District changed the manner in which it determines an
employee’s eligibility for Family and Medical
Leave Act (FMLA) leave. On April 2, 2009, SEHD transitioned from the current calendar year
method to a rolling 12-month period for purposes
of determining an employee’s eligibility for FMLA leave. SEHD’s
Human Resource Policy #1005 has been updated
to reflect this change.
This notice is
provided in accordance with the U.S. Department
of Labor regulations governing FMLA leave.
